First elected to Kelowna City Council in 2011. I came to Kelowna in 1989 to work at CHBC Television as a news reporter. My job gave me the opportunity to travel across the Okanagan and delve into issues that affect the people who live here. As a journalist, I was able to give a voice to people who could not always be heard.
