Shanna practices family law and supports individuals both at the start of a relationship and at its end. At the beginning of a relationship, she helps couples decide in advance how finances and spousal support will be handled if the relationship ends, typically through a Cohabitation Agreement or Marriage Agreement. When a relationship ends, Shanna assists clients with property division, spousal support, child support, and parenting arrangements. She guides clients through out-of-court resolution options (such as negotiation, mediation, or the Collaborative Process) and, when necessary, represents them in court (litigation).
